Mend Whirlpool Lights Control Panel Flashing

Whirlpool 6th Sense..lights flashing/beeping?

All the lights on the control panel are continuously flashing and it beeps. Its been like that a while, and i initally thought that it was because the doors werent closed properly and once ive shoved the contents back a bit it seemed to stop. Then out of nowhere just happens again. Anyone know why and how to fix it. I suspect the floor its on may not be level and wonder if that has any bearing on the problem??

I had the same problem, i found another blog which recommended this, and it worked,

Switch off the machine, plug it off..
now press the "Set cooling" button on the freezer panel for 10 seconds.. this resets the internal mechanism, dont ask me how but it does.
Next keep the freezer door open for around 10 minutes.

after 10 minutes, plug the appliance in and switch it on.

and it should work normally.

i had this problem yesterday, for me i think my daughter changed the temperature of the freezer, and basically it froze up the ice machine. i had to get it all out to free up blocks of ice, after this it was fine.

I have the same problem, the first time I changed the temperatures and it seem to stop probably about a year. It has now restarted, I'm going to change the water filter to see if it works.
