how do I get my craftsman rider to pull with weight on it?

my craftsman rear engine 10 hp rider will not pull with weight on it..it pulls fine with no weight on it..and first and second and reverse with me on it...third fourth and fifth only on a decline but none on any type of incline or even level ground for any distance...is this a mis-adjustment or a grease problem it's old and has a new 11hp engine on it but the rear has never been touched, I cant find where or how to add or change grease to the rear.

Sounds like either a slipping transmission belt, or a broken clutch tensioning spring. Either way not difficult to fix.
