Mend Tricity Bendix 1000 Washer Filling Water Spin

how can i fix my tricity bendix washer 1000?

i switched it on and it started filling with water, but wouldnt spin, so we emptied the filter to see if that made a difference but it didn't. so we took all the washing out and tried putting it on a spin with nothing in it, and then it just switched off, and now it won't do anything. whats wrong with it? HELP!!!!!
