Zanussi - Jetstream - Please Help?

Previously posted question re program completing normal cycle and then clicking through delicates cycle and sticking between drain and short spin.

Since then have watched whole process. Starts filling with water, but this seems to drain straight out, when I've examined the washing, the washing tablets are still intact, although washing appears wet. Drum moves OK and pump is working, filter has been cleaned. Please can someone let me know if they think that it can be repaired or whether I should be spending my afternoon looking for a new washer. Needed urgently, two kids and no clean school uniform for Monday!
