My washing machine (tricity bendix 914780035) won't start ?

The mains indicator comes on when the start knob is
pulled out. I can get no short on any of the three door
latch contacts, moving the latch plate as I test each
pair. All seem to be open circuit. Is this a fault or am I
missing something?

sounds like a possible door interlock fault.set a program.pull switch to on and door lock should click within 5 seconds.if it doesn't there is a good chance this is at fault.
