whirll washing machine...washing machine stops and starts?

I have a new whirlpool washing maching WTT5200SQ0
that the Rats got into, and chewed through the hoses..the warranty would not cover that...(my luck)
so I had to replace all the hoses myself..long story...
I finally finished this after looking for the right hoses for several weeks..(the parts for it will not be sold by whirlpool until sep. 2009)
MY PROBLEM IS: now that it is not leaking again,,when it starts to wash..it begans to cut itself off and on again..it that a timer..or a water level problem??
I did rearrange some of the hoses in the back, including that small hose that only has air? that goes from the side of the tub to a switch on the inside of the back of the machine. water level switch??
ANY AND ALL HELP would be greatly appreciated..
