Mend Simpson minimax 10 Dryer Heating

Simpson minimax 10 not heating anymore. Repair or buy new dryer?

My Simpson minimax 10 is no longer heating up. Is it worth trying to repair (if so, how?), or would I be better off buying a new one being that this one is 20 years old?

The element is like a basketball hoop with 2 spade connections at either end, just slide of the connectors from the old one and slide back onto the new one.
I would fix because the Simpson is so easy to fix.

Repair!

A new element which is not hard to replace is about 20 dollars in Australia, and the parts are available still.
