my simpson minimax 8 dryer is heating and turning but not drying? Can this be fixed

Hi Bev .. my Simpson did the same thing and after some thought we took the long panel off back of dryer and found that the fan belt had broken. Have yet to buy another one (quoted $10) and hope that will save paying for a call out fee. I made sure we turned off dryer first and took lead out of powerpoint.

Check you have air flowing through it. Start machine & put hand over the outlet on the back of the machine. Should be a strong airflow coming out. If no airflow then check the fan belt under the long plastic cover on the back of the dryer. They sometimes break or come off the pulley. If not broken then put it back on.
