Mend Indesit W143 Clicks Round Switch

Indesit W143 Selector now clicks all way round with no spin?

After clearing the filter of 2 one pennies the selector switch now clicks all the way.
I kind of set it to rinse, it did and pumped the water out.
At spin cycle the selector switch just contnually clicked all the way, not stopping anywhere.
Please help.
