Replacing the knob assembly (WH1X2754) and dial assembly (WH11X10015) on my GE washer, how do I know where to line up the dial on the shaft of the timer so that it corresponds to the correct wash cycle?
All types of this timeer have a notch on the shaft that corresponds to a tab on the outer ring of the selector knob. This will automatically put the knob at the correct location, unless the tab is broken off.
