Anyone know what an F7 fault is on Dyson Washer??

hiya,

I spent 20 mins on the helpline and they kept on making me do all this stuff with the doors then wanted to charge me 85 pounds callout - thought id try this first after a bit of searching on the net b4 booking the engineer

why do faults always happen 'just out of guarantee' !!
If it's got software - it's probably got a built-in doomsday bug - - around about month13 - or am I being psychotic :-)

right...i found this answer to another question on the forum, and it worked for the f5 fault so may do for f7 too

Try something like this:

Switch the machine off with the 'Mains On/Off' button, then press first the 'Temperature' button whilst switching the machine back on, then the 'Soil type' button within 6 seconds, one at a time, not both together. If you are not quick enough you will have to switch off and start again. a diagnostic screen should then come up telling you a code number for the fault. now you can switch the machine off, then on again, and it should have now re-set an be working (unless the fault is a serious one). let me know if this works for your fault, as it does for many of them.

just got an f5 on mine. sorry i dont know what either fault is but mine is just out of guarantee too. can anyone help?
