sounds like you cound do with checking the suspention legs as for tripping the rcd that is more than likely because as the washing machine vibrated it as rubbed off the insulating cover from one of the wire so that when it spins it is catching the metal caseing which is earthed (yellow and green wire on mains lead) causing it to go to earth tripping you rcd
