how can i fix my hotpoint?

my hotpoint aquarius740 washing machine keeps flashing h20 looked for the clear plastic tube at the back of soap draw do not have one ? when machine on sometimes shows mins reducing but only trys to work every 5 min for few sec what can i do next ?

H2O is the chemical formula for water - your machine might be complaining of too much of it or more probably not enough.

Very often on washing machines the water inlet valve fails - your problem could be this.
