Mend Fisher and Paykel GW611 Washing Machine Drain And

Fisher and Paykel GW 611 wont drain water?

My washer Fisher and Paykel 'GW 611 - excellence' wont drain the water away. There is a humming sound as the wash finishes but no water draning. I have emptyied out the water and tried the cycle again. It fills up ok but still doesn't drain. Hope somebody can help me!

The humming sound is the drain pump trying to turn. Something is stopping it. Do not leave it humming too long as it will overheat the pump. Tip machine back against the wall & look underneath on front right hand corner of wash bowl. You will see the pump. Try turning the plastic fan back & forward to free & dislodge the item. If pump comes free then stand machine back up & try spin cycle to see if pump works ok. If it still hums then you will need to remove the pump & manually clear away any obstruction.
