How can i fix my renault scenic starting problem?

On my Scenic 53plate, I get the card not detected message when i try to start the car and have to wiggle the key card around until and continually push the start button until it does. The display started to say 'change the battery in the key card'. I have done so, twice, and yet i still have the same message. Help anyone?
