have an 02 plate daily will start every day until it gets frosty then wont start. changed thermostarter and fuel solenoid. Removed injectors and had them tested and all ok. Refitted and did spill check and all ok.
Removed thermo starter and put a small heat gun in hole and tried in the frosty weather we have been having ,and van started straight away.
Have run thermostarter externally to make sure it fires up and nearly set fire to van so that side works .
any ideas welcome
ok i have had same sort problem i have a vito van wont start in cold as normal key in pre heater light turn no start read instructions guess what have to turn on the inside heater apartly it turns the pre heater for glow plugs on didnt no till reading booklet
