integrated fridge freezer?

I doubt that the customer can touch the compressor ck as they have stated it is built in, I would suggest that you should not be offering advise as it appears from most of your HELPS are way of the mark.
This problem sounds like a simple stat failure.

if you can hear the compressor running and if it feels warm to the touch it could well be an expensive repair.minimum repairs will be about £80 upwards and if its a major repair look at £200 +.this is only a guide but be prepared to get involved with expensive repairs if you call someone out and follow through with a repair.lots of general repairers can't repair them even if they wanted to because they have not got the correct kit but will tell you its a system fault,too expensive and take a callout fee.one thing is for sure if the fan has packed up it would cause the problem you have described.its make your mind up time!!!
