Mend AEG Santo 3774 6KA Refrigerator Temperature Compressor

Aeg santo 3774 6ka temperature problems?

AEG Santo 3774 6KA everything was blinking, we changed the capacitor on the board and the blinking stoped, but now it behaves strangely. Compressor is not switching off or on with the on/off switch. I switch it off and on and it shows a completely different temperature. My guess it is the temperature sensor or thermostat, but I could not find any repair/service manuals on the net. Any idea would be appreciated.

The capacitor was faulty. For a while it worked fine, but than the leds started blinking again and the fridge is working as a freezer. I still think it is the temperature sensor. Any idea where is it located? Thanks,

Why did you change "the capacitor"? Which one? What does it do? How did you know it was faulty?
