can i fix water leak AEG Santo 72398 KA?

Same problem as all above, and getting worse. The plastic tray at back is full of water, ideally I want to take it out , empty and clean it. But it appears to be fixed. Is it removable?

The drainage hole at the back of the fridge (just above the drawer) can get blocked after a period of time, use a cocktail stick or similar to remove black nasty stuff and the condensation will drain away, rather than pool underneath the drawer.

I've got the same problem with AEG Santo 72348 KA - but can't seem to find anything at the back to poke a cocktail stick into? Help - it is leaking at a rate of knots and has wrecked my wooden floor;((((

If you can get to the back pull it out and disconnect the black plastic pipe over the compressor clean it out it gets blocked and reattach

Also the same problem and poking the little green plastic thing around seemed to have no effect. But followed the tip about using a toothpick to poke the little hole in the pipe in the back and that now seems to be working. Fingers crossed

Same problem. Water is not draining out to the back of the fridge into the evaporation tray. Ours has a little green piece of plastic in it which looks a bit like the thing you get in kids bubble mixture. It doesn't appear to serve any useful purpose. Replaced it with a cable tie - was the first thing I found with the right sort of size and rigidity. That seems to be working, as once poked into the hole, water started draining out into evaporation tray. 15 minutes in and seems to be working, no pooling of water in the channel at the back of the top drawer.

Of course now I'm worried that the evaporation tray will overflow, as this was a problem we had with the first one of these fridges - John Lewis replaced in the first couple of months.

Same problem - every morning, water on the floor. Regularly clean out little hole inside but doesn't help. Even when cleaned there's still a drop of water resting in the catcher area.Go behind the fridge and locate drain pipe above condenser. It has a very tiny hole in the end. Simply poke something small (cocktail stick) back through the hole and a pipe full of water drains out.
The plastic jobby supplied with the fridge doesn't do the job.

Sorry don't have answer, but I have AEG Santo 91800-5i. Water builds up under salad drawer and leaks out. Have found by putting a wedge between salad drawer and back of fridge this seems to stop it as water can get to drain hole. But why should I looks like a design fault.

My AEG Santo 72398 fridge has exactly the same fault.Still waiting for over 1 week for John Lewis to arange a technician visit. We've been told this is a most unusual fault - OBVIOUSLY NOT !!

Sorry, I don't have an answer but am experiencing a similar problem over the past few weeks. Wondered if we were over filling it but that doesn't really seem to make sense.
