Mend New Home SR 2000 Thread Underneath Machine

My New Home SR 2000 will not pick up the bobbin thread?

The top thread will not come around to pick up the bobbin thread underneath , i have rethreaded the machine several times and looked over the bobbin area and it all seems fine , the feed dogs opperate fine moving material forward. what do i do ?
MY machine is a New Home SR 2000

Hello Michelle,
Check the basics first, make sure you have a new needle in and the correct way round, failing that you may need to retime your machine, if you email me below I can attach timing instructions.
