when i sew the thread gathers up underneath material?

i cleaned machine & afterwards when i sew the thread gathers underneath material is the bobbin case not in correctly or is it the bobbin in wrong?

Hello leonard,
Chances are you may have put the bobbin in the wrong way round, it must turn anti clockwise, go througtyh the threading of the machine again as well and make sure the top tension is about number 4 or 5
