where can i get my machine serviced ?

I have had a New Home Memory Craft 6000 machine for many years and it has done hundreds of miles stitching never letting me down. It has recently begun to be a bit tempremental especially when trying to sew stretch jersey fabrics. Do electronic machines require servicing? If so, do you know of anyone in my area who could take care of this for me? (ST16 1QH)
