Mend Veritas Worked Years Set

Veritas?

The alarm system has worked flawless everyday for 4 years. Since November, we cannot set it because its led on keypad flashes continuously day and night and when we try to set it it beeps continuously, to stop its beep we enter the password again. How can we mend it?

Sounds like the rechargeable battery has gone caput, test the battery and replace if needed. There is a battery in the unit and in the bell box? which may have gone? Failing this get the installer to look at it their number should be affixed to the bell box and inside the drop down panel to your key pad. All the best and Merry Christmas.-
