Mend Renault Kangoo Stalling Stalls Engine

Our Renault Kangoo keeps stalling?

We have a 2004 model Kangoo which stalls quite often. We can be driving or stationary but it the engine just dies on us.
Someone has suggested that there is an automatic fuel cut-off switch which could be malfunctioning.
Anyone got any ideas??
