got a 20l dti astra and when it worms up it keeps on cutting out can you please help

Symptoms suggest crank sensor failing. There are a number of other possibilities such as faulty fuel tank breather, coolant temp sensor, fuel pump etc., but if it was mine I'd stick a new crank sensor in.
