Vokera - The Linea range- Linea 24 Linea 28- turns on alone??Any advice?

what is the function of water pressure switch on the vokera linea 28?

the dials are broken.on the circuit board.the knob is still in situ but the spindle is probably broken

THE LINEA HAS A PREHEAT FUNCTION ON IT THAT WARMS THE BOILER UP FROM AROUND 30*C TO 60*C
. THIS PREHEAT CYCLE SHOULD ONLY TAKE NO MORE THAN 1 MIN TO REACH 60*C. HOWEVER IF THE BOILER CAN NOT REACH 60*C IT WILL CONTINUE TO RUN, LOOKING FOR THAT 60*C TEMPREATURE. THE MOST LIKLEY REASON FOR YOUR BOILER TO NOT REACH 60* IS THAT YOUR DIVERTER VALVE IS PASSING AND LEAKING HEAT DOWN THE HEATING LEG GIVING THE APPEARANCE THAT THE HEATING IS ON. SO AN OVERHAUL OF YOUR DIVERTER VALVE SHOULD CURE YOUR PROBLEM.

This boiler has a preheat for hot water and will fire up occasionally to heat the hot water in the boiler to around 60 degrees, it is possibly just firing up for the preheat but the diverter valve is passing and allowing the radiators to heat up. the selector switch in the middle could also be broken and stuck in the heating position, turn the switch to the off position and the display should go blank, if not then this switch is most likely the problem, hope this helps.

You may find the on-off control knob is broken. It is very easy to damage the plastic-stop on the rear of it. Try turning it so that it so that the indicator points upwards - it may be 180 degrees out of position. If you have no joy you may have to call an engineer to sort it out.
