Mend Yardman Lawn Mower

Yardman Lawn Mower?

Self Propelled yardman lawnmower won't start. Gas was not drained out when put in storage for over a year. Have tried every thing imanageable with no luck. Will start when you prime it until carb gas is burnt up but then dies. Plse advise someone what can be done to get it to run.

This works when I leave gas for to long. Take the bowl off the carb and spray carb cleaner up, into the carb this should disolve the varnish which isn't allowing it to get fuel. The short of it is your float is stuck shut or your jets are plugged.
