how do i get optima alarm on?

my optima xl6 alarm system is silent, it doesn't respond to anything i do? it happened after a power cut, can anyone help?

hello Charlotte mine has done the same, I have checked the internal battery on the control box and that is ok, my guess is there must be a battery in the box with the siren, I am going up later to check it,
