Mend Maytag MAV7600AWW Top Load Washer

Mav7600aww Top load washer?

My washer will not work at all as if no power is going thru. I called customer service regarding the problem. They said it maybe the timer. I ordered & replaced the timer. Still no go. Any ideas? Fuse?

Have you tried replacing the lid switch? It is very easy to replace. Remove the top control panel. Tilt the control panel forward and gently push the bottom of the panel backward. Just like you did when you replaced the timer. The lid switch can be accessed this way. It simply locks into place. you will have to lift the washer lid and work the switch out simultaneously. These switches are about 30.00 to replace. Good Luck
