Mend Hood Light Bulb

Cooker Hood Light?

There was a little foil sticker above my cooker hood light but it has fallen off. Now when i turn the light on it melts the plastic above the bulb and the smell of melting plastic fills the kitchen. Is it possible to repair this ???
