how can i fix my fisher&paykel DW918TD?

What are the specific dimensions for the DW918TD? My one is 13 years old and has had many repairs to the door mechanism. I think I must replace it as the repairs don't last now. I need to get a new machine but don't know the dimensions for the space

F1 fault can be fixed by tilting the machine backwards at about 45 degrees. Dont need to fiddle with anything else

Thanks very much for the answer to the problem. It worked perfectly - great instructions. Our water pump ran on as well, we just had to fiddle with the setting of the flood switch, put the dishwasher onto a "Rinse" cycle in order to let it finish a whole cycle properly and all was sweet. Getting the orange block back onto the polystyrene without upsetting the switch again WAS a tad tricky ... thanks again ... it certainly saved our bacon.

ALL FISHER PAYKEL DISHWASHERS F1 ERROR OR FLOOD SWITCH ERRORS: Remove the front panel below the door, or gain access to the under tray, you will find a red/orange block attached to the base with some clips, remove and pull out, leave wires attached, and remove the small clips on the orange block, and you will see two switches, and a small amount o plastic between them, simply take note of which switch is pushed in and reverse it by moving small tag of plastic between, and turning on other switch. Problem solved. Re-insert into dishwasher base. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE WASHER PLUGGED IN WHEN YOU ATTEMPT THIS. Don;t bother ringing fisher and paykel, they won;t help much. If anyone has a solution to a constantly running waste pump, but no fill, any help there would help. willhoy@aapt.net.au.

That is a flood switch.
