hi i have an indesit w103 the belt has snapped is it worth repairing as ive had the machine for 8 yrs

Yes yes and yes, new indesits/hotpoints/candy and anything else Hotpoint does is usless it'll last you 2 years if your lucky, the belt really shouldn't cost more the 20 pounds, to fit it take the back panel off and put the belt over the motor then push it around the pulley turning the pulley (watch your fingers) when fitted strum the belt it should sound like a guitar string just to make sure it's not too tight or loose
