my belt has come offmy indesit wil 103 washing machine?
the belt has come off my indiset wil 103 model. when i try to put it back on it slips back off. it looks as if the barrel is off line with the motor, in some way? the grooves on the belt look ok.
Any slack in the drum? Open the door & try to move the drum up & down by hand. If there is slack then the drum bearings are shot & the motor shaft misaligned with the drum pulley. I should add that the machine will be very noisy when running if this is the case.

These belts are VERY tight...its possible that there are some cords torn on the edge of the belt so its best to get a new one...make sure the grooves in the belt mate with the grooves on the motor pulley and the belt should ride in the centre of the drum pulley.
