Mend Hotpoint WMA 30P Door Lock

Hotpoint door lock fix?

My Hotpoint Aquarius WMA 30P washing machine has stpped working. When turning the dial to a programme nothing happens for about 5 seconds, then the door lock light starts flashing. I have changed the door switch but the light flashes just the same. What do you suggest the fault might be?
