How do you change out an agitator?

I have a Maytag washer, model SAV2555AWW. The bottom piece of the agitator had one of the plastic parts break off, and now my clothes get caught. I want to change this. I know what part to buy, but how do I get this assembly apart?

Hello,

You have to remove the cap and dispenser by pulling it up. Then you should see a bolt. Remove the bolt and pull up on the agitator and that shoud do it.
