filling boiler with water?

I assume its a boiler with a sealed system, if so there should be a 15mm flexible pipe connected to a mains water pipe under or beside your boiler. It may have been left disconnected so check and connect to the 15mm pipe going into the boiler pipework partially open the small service valve (there may be two valves) and you should hear water going into the boiler. Watch the gauge and take the pressure up to 1 bar. Fire the boiler and check the pressure does not rise too far. Once up to temp.you can increase pressure to about 1.5 bar
