How can I fix my Miele Washing Machine Novotronic W827 that will not drain?

i had the same problem with mine. the drain hose was blocked with grey sludge/limescale. it sticks to the corrugations of the pipe. i fitted a whole new pipe and it was fine. hope this helps

Pump removal: power off, remove cover, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace.

I did this not long ago - take the back off and check the fittings at the bottom - its a pump thing - when i checked mine it was full of wire (out of kids pockets) & i also found a ring i thought lost months ago!! check that and clear it - should work like a dream after
