My mileage gauge and speedometer for my old (1993) renault clio do not work... I have only recently bought the car.... Could it be as simple as a wire being disconnected?

go to www.fixmymileage.com and they will repair it for you, i had some work done on my car by them, and was very satisfied with the results, very professional i would recommend then to anyone.

it could be diconnected from the coil though that is the case in older model cars if you have electronic start then get a technician to look at it.
