Mend Renault Clio Light Help Petrol

clio abs and service light on plz help?

hi to all, I have a 2002 Renault Clio 1.2l petrol which was lying up for about a year and when I went to put it back on the road the ABS and service light came on and stayed on. I hooked up an OBD/OBDII code reader but this said that there were no faulty codes to be found, by the way the car starts on the first turn of the key and runs well. Does anyone have any ideas where I can go from here.

Renault Renault Clio Vehicles, Cars Light Help Renault Petrol

Did the code reader access the ABS control module? I would try another code reader. there should be a fault there if your light is on, pay particular attention to the front ABS rings on the outer CV joints on these, common problem for splitting and corrosion on them. You can purchase replacement rings from a motor factors and are cheap. Good luck.
