how to stop my brother vx 950 nesting up?

hi i've started setup from scratch as said and by manual and still its nesting up or lower stitch lose, could it be the timing or more technical !!!!!
HELP THIS IS DOING MY HEAD IN

Sounds like a tension problem, make sure the presser foot is up when you thread the machine, top tension between 4 and 6, you should be able to pull the bobbin thread through with some resistence but not tight.
