Simpson esprit 500 Clicking Noise?

During the wash cycle the machine has an intermittent high pitch clcking noise. Are there any solutions to this abnormal sound

Simpson Simpson esprit 500 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Clicking Noise Cycle

Sounds like a problem with the clutch ratchet & spring assembly. Mounted just above the drive pulley. Probably needs taken off, check it for worn or damaged parts. Clean old dry grease off spring and put new grease on spring & reassemble.
