How to reprogramme a Scantronic 9800?

I recently paid a technician to replace the battery in my alarmand he managed to lock out the keypad. I was not amused! I subsequently had to refresh the NVM but obvioulsy had to reprogramme all the zones.

My problem is that I cannon get the system to set-up the front door magnet as an entry point. If I set the alarm and exit all seems fine, as soon as I open the door the alarm goes off. I have tried every combination in the manual but to no avail.....

Can anyone give me a point by point guide for this?
