Mend Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 LS Engine Noise

engine trouble?

i have a vectra 2002 1.8 LS ,when i press the clutch there is a knocking sound coming from the enginei t only happens when im pressing the clutch nobody can tell me what it is .I have had the clutch relplaced but cant find out wha this noise is can u help ?

when u got the clutch done, did they replace the dual-mass flywheel? if not, then this is more than likely the problem, it will occur whilst pressing the clutch but go when the clutch is fully depressed.
