Mend Samsung YP-U3 Settings Change Help

HOW CAN I GET THE DISPLAY BACK ON MY SAMSUNG MP3 YP-U3?

My daughter has an mp3 samsung YP-U3 but I cannot get the display on, she's obviously changed the settings but i cannot see the display to change it back can you please help?

press the rec button and the menu button together and hold them for a few seconds.
