LG Side by side Fridge/Freezer?

i live in france and love my newish (about 9 months old) fridge freezer which is plumbed in and which gives great tasting water but i'm finding that the ice tastes 'tainted' a very slight 'oniony' tang - it's only the ice not the water and no, i haven't got any onions in my freezer which might be the cause. We are using lots of ice every day so staleness isn't the problem either but last time - i threw all the ice away wiped the box out with a cloth soaked in milton solution, made some more and the problem disappeared - now about 4 weeks later - it's back??
