THanks so much! I did it, mind you I used some very strange kitcken utensils as pliers but it worked. I'm so happy! Thanks for the advice and confidence boost.

Why should you not be able to do this? - it should need no super-human feat of strength - just confidence and common sense.

Patronisingly... Take a digital photo so you know how to reconnect pipes and cables - you may also have to borrow tools - chaps collect tools but girls generally don't. Then, given that you may be forced to borrow tools from some fellow, why not ask the fellow to do it for you?

An old retired chap would be only too pleased to help for the price of a couple of beers.
