Mend LG Screen Dark Tv

How can I fix my LG 42LG5010?

Each time I swirch on the TV half (left side) of the screen is very dark and there is ghosting. the screen them whites out with horizontal lines. The TV is 18 months old. It does clear sometime after switching off and on a few times.

I had the same problem. your left half of the tv will eventually go black, then it will need a new screen.
I had to get a new TV because the new screen
was too expensive to replace and fit. The LG 42LG5010
has a bad batch. The buggers at LG should have taken and replaced that batch for f
ree but it just so happens that the warranty is only 18 months.
