steamvac?

my hoover f6028 steamvack transfer the water from the clear tank in seconds to the recovery tank, does not give me time to clean the carpet is this ok or is there something wrong with the tanks?

Try this: remove the upper handle, then put it back into position and squeeze the trigger and the thumb button that allows extra fluid out for high traffic areas at the same time. You should hear a snap. Once that's done, the triggers should work properly.
