I have the same problem...I have a new tank and I know its not the tank ....it only leaks while its turned on and it leaks out the bottom back side of the machine not at the tank....it will still spray if you pull the trigger but it leaks water all the time. I have been told it could be a solenoid that opens the valve. I have taken this thing apart 3 darn times and I know for sure it's not a leaking hose and it's not the tank (otherwise it would leak all the time. Again it only leaks when you turn it on. So I will try the solenoid next.
I worked GREAT before this and I have used it maybe 12 times and I always cleaned it after every use and emptied all fluids before I stored away. So I really can't understand why Hoover has not improved their quality control....ITS A GREAT MACHINE!! If it would last longer.
