water isnt getting to my storage tank ?

hi , my mains water was off yesterday and when it came back on there was some air in taps but everything was fine until i realised this morning there was no water in the storage tank in the attic, the small tank beside it i think is for central heating , water going there ok , how do i clear the airlock
